OLF is urging for a fair investigation into the killing of Bate Urgessa. The party is calling on human rights groups to independently look into the murder of the prominent OLF member, who was shot dead in Meki. OLF has also stated that they are conducting their own investigation into the incident. Bate had been released from government custody just a month prior to his death.
